If you still want to install them in the front you can drill a hole above the compartment door and run the wires from the camera down and tie them into the existing side marker lights to avoid any space issues and you'll just have an extra side marker light.

If the trailer brakes are locking up when pressing on the brake pedal in your tow vehicle and not releasing until bumping the pedal again, then it's very possible you have a bad brake light switch on the vehicle that needs to be replaced. It sounds like the switch is sticking when pressing on the pedal.
You might check to see if the brake lights on your tow vehicle also stay on until bumping the pedal again, which would be a clear indication of this.

When using a grease gun like the # L30200 and grease like the # L11390 to grease the axle/bearings on your 5th wheel you technically don't have to pull your slide-outs in. But, I highly recommend that you do. You are going to have jack your 5th wheel trailer up to be able to spin the hubs as needed when greasing.
